The Radziechów district was a political district in the crown land of Galicia and Lodomeria . Its area covered parts of eastern Galicia in what is now western Ukraine ( Lviv Oblast , Radechiv Rajon and parts of Busk Rajons ), the seat of the district administration was Radziechów . After the First World War , Austria had to cede the entire district to Poland .

It bordered the Russian Empire in the north and east, the Brody District in the southeast, the Kamionka Strumiłowa District in the southwest and the Sokal District in the west .

history

The district emerged late in the course of the administrative history of Galicia, specifically it was created on January 1, 1912 when the judicial district Łopatyn left the Brody district and the Radziechów judicial district from the Kamionka Strumiłowa district.

The Radziechów district consisted of 57 municipalities and 51 manor areas in 1912 and covered an area of ​​1127.62 km². The population in 1910 was 72,432 people.
