Château Vieux is a French municipality with 83 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Var in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Draguignan and the Canton of Flayosc .
geography
Châteauvieux is the northernmost municipality in the Var department. It is a scattered settlement in a largely forested municipality mark. The neighboring municipalities are Peyroules in the north, Valderoure and Séranon in the east, La Martre in the south, Brenon in the southwest, Castellane in the west and La Garde in the northwest.
