Corinna is a town in Penobscot County in the state of Maine in the United States . In 2010, 2,198 people lived there in 1,075 households on an area of 102.20 km².

Geographical location
Corinna is located in the southwest of Penobscot County, in the west borders Somerset County . The East Branch Sebasticook River flows south through the town . Centrally in the area of the town is the East Branch Sebasticook River Reservoir , in the south the Sebasticook Lake borders and in the northwest the Weymouth Pond . There are other smaller lakes in the Corinna area. The surface is flat, without any significant elevations.

history
In 1804 the area was sold to John Warren of Boston by the state of Massachusetts. The town of Corinna was organized as an independent town on December 11, 1816. Previously, the area was named Township No. 4, Fourth Range North of Waldo Patent (T4 R4 NWP) .
