Domleschg ( Rhaeto-Romanic Tumleastga ) is a municipality in the Viamala region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland .

The apple tree symbolizes the wealth of fruit in Domleschg . In the coat of arms of the district , the twelve apples stood for the number of communities that made up the district of Domleschg when the coat of arms was created . In the new municipal coat of arms, eight apples hang on the tree, which stand for the number of fractions in the municipality of Domleschg. |

history
The municipality of Domleschg was created on January 1st, 2015 through the merger of the previous municipalities Almens , Paspels , Pratval , Rodels and the former merged municipality of Tomils . The municipality of Tomils was created on January 1, 2009 from the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Feldis / Veulden , Scheid , Trans and Tumegl / Tomils .
The name comes from the Domleschg landscape , which extends beyond the area of the municipality.
