At the end of the season he was therefore ordered to the farm team of the Detroit Red Wings, the Grand Rapids Griffins from the American Hockey League , where the defender made twelve more appearances in the professional field and celebrated winning the Calder Cup with the team . At the beginning of the 2017/18 season , the defensive player was a permanent member of the Griffins' squad and made it to the AHL All-Rookie Team at the end of the season . At the beginning of the 2018/19 season , Hronek finally made his debut with the Red Wings in the NHL.
