French Rugby Union Championship 1991/92

The 1991/92 season was the 93rd edition of the French Rugby Union Championship. It comprised 40 teams in the top division (today's top 14 ).

The championship was divided into two phases. It began with the group stage, in which ten teams played against each other in four groups. The eight best placed in each group (32 teams in total) advanced to the knockout round. Sixteenth, eighth, quarter and semi-finals followed. In the final, which took place on June 6, 1992 at Parc des Princes in Paris , the two semi-final winners met and played for the Bouclier de Brennus . The RC Toulon prevailed against Biarritz Olympique and won the championship title for the third time.
