The 2011/12 season of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg was the 34th season of the Football Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and the fourth as the fifth-highest division in Germany. The champion and climber in the Regionalliga Südwest was SSV Ulm 1846 with five points ahead of VfR Mannheim . The Ulm team managed to get back up there. The FV Illertissen changed after this season in the Bavarian Soccer Association and managed by a table fourth promotion to the League Bavaria .

In the association's leagues had to 1. FC Normannia Gmund , SV Bonlanden and VfL Kirchheim / Teck descend. VfL Kirchheim / Teck withdrew its team from the game on July 26th 2011 for economic reasons and was thus determined to be the first relegated team before the season started. All the club's games were canceled and the season continued with 17 clubs.

The promoters were FC Singen 04 from the Association League South Baden , TSV Grunbach from Association League Baden and SGV Freiberg from the Association League Württemberg , who rose directly as the respective relay champions. The FSV 08 Bissingen from the Württemberg Association League qualified via the promotion round of the runner-up . The second team of Karlsruher SC had to relegate from Regionalliga Süd .

The top scorer was Alexander Zimmermann from SV Spielberg with 21 goals.

    Promotion round to the league

    The last promotion place played the three runners-up of the association leagues Baden, Südbaden and Württemberg.

    In the duel between the vice champions from the Baden association league, TSG Weinheim , and Südbaden, SV Oberachern , the Weinheimers prevailed and reached the second round. The FSV 08 Bissingen as runner Verbandsliga Württemberg had a bye.
