The Puerto Rican national soccer team is the national soccer team of the US-American suburb of Puerto Rico . The team belongs to the sporty middle class of the continental association CONCACAF . So far, the team has not yet managed to qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup or the World Cup.

The US national soccer player Chris Armas , who has completed more than 50 internationals for the USA, originally already played five internationals for Puerto Rico. However, since these were not official internationals, he was still eligible to play for the USA.

In Germany, the team gained attention when it became known that the association wanted to hire Felix Magath as a coach or consultant. Magath's father was born in Puerto Rico.
