Honeymoon ( English for ' honeymoon ') is the fourth studio album by the American pop singer Lana Del Rey .

Creation and artwork

Most of the pieces on the album were written jointly by Lana Del Rey and Rick Nowels, only a cover version and a poem were not written by them. The two were supported by Kieron Menzies for the piece High by the Beach . All titles were jointly produced by Del Rey, Menzies and Nowels. The album was mastered by Gateway Mastering in Portland, Maine , under the direction of Adam Ayan. The arrangement was largely made by Chris Garcia, Kieron Menzies and Trevor Yasuda. Only song 24 was arranged by Nicolas Essig and the song Swan Song by Chris Garcia, Phil Joly and Kieron Menzies. The album was released under the music labels Interscope Records , Polydor and Universal and distributed through EMI April Music , Rated-R Music, Sony / ATV Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing . Recorded and mixed the album was the main line of Kieron Menzies, with assistance from Chris Garcia and Trevor Yasuda, The Green Building in Santa Monica ( California ) and in the New York Electric Lady Studios .

On the cover of the album - next to the artist name and album title - you can see Del Rey, sitting in a Star Line bus . Star Line's advertising and telephone number can also be found on the bus . It is one of the oldest sightseeing companies in Los Angeles . An alternative cover only shows Del Rey's face. The cover picture was shot by Del Rey's sister Caroline "Chuck" Grant and Neil Krug. The cover was designed by Markus Karlsson and Mat Maitland.
