Iljitschowo ( Russian Ильичёво ) is a settlement in the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Polessk in Polessky District .
The settlement comprises the two former East Prussian villages of Kelladden (1938–1945: Waldwinkel) and Szerszantinnen (1936–1938: Scherschantinnen, 1938–1945: Kleinwaldwinkel).
In the former village school of Kelladden, the small museum Alte deutsche Schule Waldwinkel ( Russian Старая немецкая школа Вальдвинкель ) has been located since 2012 .
history
The two rural communities of Kelladden and Szerszantinnen from the parish and the district of Laukischken , which arose in forest clearings , lived mainly from agriculture. In Kelladden there was the Tollkühn inn with a dance hall, a grocery store, a construction company and a two-class village school.
In April 1938 the municipality, renamed Scherschantinnen in 1936, was incorporated into Kelladden, which in turn was renamed Waldwinkel in June 1938, because the name did not sound German enough at that time . Scherschantinnen was now called Kleinwaldwinkel. In 1939 the community of Waldwinkel, to which part of the New Holland Ownership also belonged, had more than 650 inhabitants.
After the occupation by the Soviet Union , the place was named "Ilyichowo" in 1947. At the same time the place became the seat of a village soviet in Polessk Raion . After the dissolution of this village soviet in 1954, the place came into the village soviet Saranski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2016 Ilyichovo belonged to the rural municipality of Saranskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Polessk.
Ilyichovsky selsky Sowet 1947–1954
The village soviet Ilyichovsky selski sovet (ru. Ильичёвский сельский Совет) was established in June 1947. In 1954, the village soviet was dissolved again and (apparently) divided between the village soviets Golowkinski selski Sowet , Saranski selski Sowet and Sosnowski selski Sowet .

The vast majority of the population of Kelladden (or Waldwinkel) was of Protestant denomination before 1945 . The village was parish in the parish of the church Laukischken and belonged to the parish of Labiau in the church province of East Prussia of the church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Ilyichowo is in the catchment area of the newly established Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Lomonossowka (Permauern , 1938-1946 walls) , a branch of the Resurrection Church in Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
