Oktjabrskoje ( Russian Октябрьское , German Panzerlauken , 1938 to 1945 Panzerfelde , Lithuanian Pancerlaukiai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Polessk in Polessky District .
Geographical location
Oktyabrskoje is located 29 kilometers east of Polessk (Labiau) on the border with Slavsk Raion . A side road runs through the place, which connects Kaschtanowo (Schmilgienen / Kornfelde) on the regional road 27A-145 (ex A190 ) with Winogradnoje (Schaudienen / Kornhöfen) . history
Before 1945 the village, once called Panzerlauken , consisted only of a few scattered small farms. Between 1874 and 1945 the village was incorporated into the Uszballen administrative district (1936 to 1938: Uschballen, 1938 to 1946: Mühlenau, no longer exists today), which belonged to the Labiau district in the Königsberg administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia . On June 3, 1938, the place was renamed "Panzerfelde".
As a result of the war, the place came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 . In 1947 he was given the Russian name Oktjabrskoje and was assigned at the same time to the village Soviet Zalessovsky selski Sowet in the Bolshakovo district . Since 1965 the place belongs to the Polessk Raion . From 2008 to 2016 Oktyabrskoje belonged to the rural municipality Zalessovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Polessk.
