history
Before 1945, the former Klein Elxnupönen was a residential area in the Cotta forest estate , which was founded in 1868 and was renamed in 1902 as the “Mehlauken forest estate”. This gave its name to the administrative district in the Labiau district in the Königsberg administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia . In an ideological defense against foreign-sounding place names, Klein Elxnupönen was renamed Kleinerlenfließ in 1938 .
In 1945 the place was assigned to the Soviet Union like all in northern East Prussia . In 1947 the place was given the Russian name Blischneje and at the same time was assigned to the village soviet Zalessovsky selski sovet in the Bolshakovo district . Since 1965 the place belongs to the Polessk Raion . From 2008 to 2016 Blischneje belonged to the rural municipality Zalessovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Polessk.
