The KamAZ-43255 ( Russian КамАЗ-43255 ) is a truck produced by the KAMAZ plant in Naberezhnye Chelny . The tipper has been available since 2007 and is based on the chassis of the KamAZ-43253 .

In mid-2007, the manufacturer KAMAZ launched the KamAZ-43255, a two-axle tipper with rear-wheel drive, which is located below the usual three-axle models. Even then, engines from Cummins Engine were used.
By 2016, the payload increased by 500 kg to 7500 kg. The most powerful six-cylinder engine available for the car at the time developed 242 hp (178 kW). It drives the truck via a six-speed manual transmission supplied by the German company ZF Friedrichshafen . The chassis and engine are the same as in the KamAZ-43253. In addition, a version with a slightly higher payload is available, the engine of which has only four instead of six cylinders and develops 177 hp (130 kW). Otherwise the trucks are identical.
The truck, which was built for local traffic, has a short driver's cab with no sleeping space for the driver.
