The KamAZ-6520 ( Russian КамАЗ-6520 , current spelling of the manufacturer KAMAZ-6520) is a three-axle tipper from the Russian commercial vehicle manufacturer KAMAZ . With this model from 2002, the manufacturer is trying to penetrate the Western European market. A very similar four-wheel drive truck exists with the KamAZ-6522 .

The truck model is offered with two different engines. On the one hand, the truck for the CIS market will be equipped with a V8 turbodiesel engine of the type 740.51-320 ( emission standard Euro-2) with a displacement of 11.76 liters; 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine of the type ISLe350-30 offered by the US engine manufacturer Cummins with a displacement of 8.9 liters (emission standard Euro-3). The transmission comes from ZF . In addition, the driver's cab has been revised and thus corresponds to western standards. It should be noted that the KamAZ-6520 can be equipped with a preheating system for the engine, which should enable a start at −45 ° C.
A four-axle version of the vehicle is also being made with the KamAZ-65201 . Since 2016 there has been a successor to the vehicle with the KamAZ-6580 .
