The KamAZ-45141 ( Russian КамАЗ-45141 ) is a Russian - made four-wheel drive truck that has been in series production since 2009. The chassis is built by KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny , the superstructure in Neftekamski Avtosavod .

The KamAZ-45141 has been in series production since 2009 and uses the chassis of the KamAZ-43118 , the latest version of the KamAZ-43118-46. KAMAZ installs a diesel engine from its own production, which has an output of just under twelve liters and produces 300 hp (221 kW). The transmission is a component supplied by the German company ZF Friedrichshafen . It has nine gears and is shifted manually.

In earlier years of construction, other engines manufactured by KAMAZ were also installed. In particular, it is the KamAZ-740.13-260 with 260 PS (191 kW), which with 10.85 liters has slightly less displacement than the current model. Since the engine only fulfills the EURO 1 emissions standard, it is no longer available.

The vehicle's dump body holds 6.6 cubic meters of material and can only be emptied to the rear. It takes 19 seconds to tip.

In contrast to many other dump trucks, KAMAZ does not market the model itself. Instead, the truck is sold by Neftekamski Awtosawod (NefAZ for short), which also produces the body. NefAZ is a subsidiary of KAMAZ and has been manufacturing dump trucks for the company since the 1970s.

KAMAZ and NefAZ also manufacture similar vehicles, but they have a larger payload. An example of this is the KamAZ-6522 , which also has all-wheel drive.
