The KamAZ-65802 ( Russian КамАЗ-65802 ) is a truck produced by the KAMAZ plant in Naberezhnye Chelny . The heavy three-axle tipper is equipped with all-wheel drive and is technically based on the KamAZ-6580 model, which has also been built since 2016 . Thanks to a collaboration between Daimler and KAMAZ that has existed since 2008, the truck's cabs are almost identical to those of the Mercedes-Benz Axor .

The first prototypes of a new generation of KAMAZ trucks were shown at Russian exhibitions in 2015. Since 2016, the series production of the KamAZ-6580 (three-axle, 6 × 4), KamAZ-65801 (four-axle, 8 × 4), KamAZ-65802 (three-axle, 6 × 6) and the KamAZ-65806 (6 × 4) tractor unit has been running .

The truck is equipped with four-wheel drive. The technically possible total weight of 41 tons is well above what would be permissible for three-axle trucks in European road traffic. This means that the vehicle can transport almost 25 tons of material away from public road traffic.

Various supplier parts from international manufacturers are installed in the KamAZ-65802. The in-line six-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 11.8 liters is produced by Cummins Engine and has an output of 308 kW (419 hp). The manual transmission with sixteen gears is built by the German company ZF Friedrichshafen . The cabin is manufactured by KAMAZ itself, but is a licensed product from Daimler AG and was originally developed for the Mercedes-Benz Axor .

The KamAZ-6580, together with the vehicles of its generation, has been the manufacturer's first truck to meet the EURO 5 emissions standard since 2016.
