Krawinkel is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Krawinkel is located on the Horbacher Bach in the Bergisches Land on the municipality border with Ruppichteroth . Neighboring towns are Eischeid in the west, Hülscheid in the north and Oberhorbach in the south.

history

Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .

In 1830, Krawinkel had 86 inhabitants. In 1845 the village of Krahwinkel had 100 Catholic residents in 18 houses. In 1888 there were 63 residents in 16 houses.

In 1901 the hamlet had 63 inhabitants. The Ackerer families Peter Demmer, Elisabeth Eischeid, Johann Fielenbach, widow JF Honscheid, Wilhelm Honscheid, Peter Klein, Wimar Klein, JA Kurtenbach, Peter Kurtenbach, Johann Schröder and Wilhelm Steimel are listed.
