Lesnaja Retschka ( Russian Лесная Речка ) is a settlement in northwestern Russia . The place belongs to the Arkhangelsk Oblast and has 2709 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

Lesnaya Rechka is located about 13 kilometers south of the Oblast capital Arkhangelsk . The place is located directly south of the regional road between Arkhangelsk and Novodvinsk . In the south of the village runs the eponymous river Lesnaya , which rises about three kilometers south of Lesnaya Retschka on Lake Lachta near Katunino and flows into the Northern Dvina around 15 kilometers north of Lesnaya Retschka . Lesnaya Retschka belongs administratively to the Stadtrajon Issakogorka within the city district Arkhangelsk ( Муниципальное образование «Архангельск» , municipal entity «Arkhangelsk»).

history

From 1946 until its dissolution in 1990, the 77th Moscow-Chernogovsk Guard Division ( 77-ая гвардейская Московско-Черниговская дивизия ) was stationed in Lesnaya Rechka .

Infrastructure and traffic

About one kilometer northwest of Lesnaya Rechka is the long-distance train station Issakogorka which on the north-south highway Arkhangelsk - Moscow is. Several bus routes run between Arkhangelsk and Lesnaya Rechka.

The place has a school. There is a penal colony northeast of the settlement ( Исправительная колония № 7 ).
