history
Oboserski came into being at the end of the 19th century with the settlement of forest workers from the forest industry. In 1910 the Oboserskaya railway station was opened. In 1958, Oboserski received urban-type settlement status.
Already in the 15th century the village Malyje Oserki ( Малые Озерки ) was founded in the area of today's Oboserski . With the collectivization in Soviet times, the village was merged into an agricultural production cooperative ( сельхозартель ) with the name Levacheva ( Левачева ) and a little later with the Novy Put kolkhoz ( Новый путь ). After the restructuring of collective farms to state farm , the settlement was at times part of the state farm of the large village Sawinski before they fell apart later. Some of the houses were rebuilt in the Oboserski settlement.
