List of countries by gross national income per capita
This list of countries by gross national income per capita contains the countries of the world with their gross national income per capita according to World Bank estimates . All data are given both in US dollars at official exchange rates (Atlas method) and in international dollars after adjusting for purchasing power (PPP). The GNI measures the value of all goods and services that are produced in a period by means of factors of production that are owned by residents (all income generated by residents, regardless of whether they are domestic or foreign). The World Bank prefers gross national income over gross domestic product as a measure of the size of an economy and divides countries into four different income classes according to their respective gross national income per capita.
Some political entities that are not otherwise listed as countries or whose political status is controversial are included in the table for comparison purposes.
