List of schools in the city of Dortmund
The city of Dortmund has 160 publicly owned schools , plus 26 independent schools . These are listed below, broken down by school type. The four public and three private university bases in the city are also listed.
Only currently existing teaching institutions are listed (as of September 2017), schools that are already closed are no longer mentioned here. Relevant schools are also not listed, for example the traditional secondary school "In der Landwehr und Lützowstraße", which was in existence until 2011, with its Portuguese lessons.
