This is a list of cities in Kenya .

By far the largest agglomeration in Kenya is Nairobi with a population of 3,639,581 (as of January 1, 2005). This means that around ten percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.

The following table shows the cities with a population of over 50,000, the results of the censuses (census) from 1969, 1979, 1989 and 1999, 2009 and 2019 (August 24th each), and the higher-level administrative unit ( county ) to which the city belongs , listed. Nairobi and Mombasa each form their own county. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
