Team squad of the German Chess League 2008/09 (women)

The list of the team cadres of the German national chess league 2008/09 (women) contains all players registered for the German national chess league of women 2008/09 and their individual results.
The 12 clubs were allowed to register 6 regular players and a maximum of 8 substitute players. Not all clubs exhausted the registration contingent completely, WB Allianz Leipzig registered 12 players, Rotation Pankow even only 11. Not all registered players were used. WB Allianz Leipzig and Rotation Pankow managed with 8 players each, the Karlsruher SF deployed most of the players, namely 13. A total of 127 players were deployed, 19 of whom did not miss a match.
The players with the best points were Iweta Rajlich (SK Großlehna) and Jana Jacková (USV TU Dresden) with 8 points each from 9 games, Julija Gromowa (SC Bad Königshofen), Anna Burtassowa (USV TU Dresden) and Karina Szczepkowska-Horowska achieved half a point less (WB Allianz Leipzig), where Gromowa and Burtassowa played 8 games each, Szczepkowska-Horowska 9. With Kristýna Havlíková (SK Großlehna), Ksenia Rybenko , Evgenija Shmirina (both USV TU Dresden), Swetlana Matwejewa (OSG Baden-Baden) and Andrea Ganzera (USV Volksbank Halle) achieved 100% for five players, but they only played a few games. Havlíková was used four times, Rybenko three times, Matwejewa twice, Shmirina and Ganzera once each.
As in the previous year, Christina Lehmann (* 1951) , who played for SK Großlehna, was the season's oldest player and Filiz Osmanodja (* 1996), who played at USV TU Dresden, was the youngest player.
