Paul McCrane

Paul David McCrane (born January 19, 1961 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor and director .

In Germany, McCrane was mainly due to his impersonations of the homosexual Frank Berry in the film adaptation of John Irving's novel Das Hotel New Hampshire and the doctor Dr. Robert Romano in the doctor series Emergency Room known. Since 2002 he has been working increasingly as a director of television productions.

life and career

McCrane began his career in the late 1970s with minor supporting roles in theater as well as in cinema and television films, including his first role as a young patient in Sylvester Stallone's boxer film Rocky II . In 1998 McCrane played the Apollo astronaut Pete Conrad in Ron Howard's documentary series From the Earth to the Moon . In the fifth and sixth seasons of the real-time series 24 , McCrane was seen in the role of Graem Bauer . From 1997 to 2003 he played the role of Dr. in the doctor series Emergency Room.
