Population development
In 1991 the community had 892 inhabitants according to the census, in 2001 it had 947 inhabitants. The sharp increase occurred because the birth balance and migration balance were positive. From 2001 to 2011, emigration was stronger than immigration, but the outflow was offset by the birth balance, so that the number of inhabitants rose slightly to 950.
