Rybniště (German Teichstatt ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located east of Děčín and belongs to the Okres Děčín .
geography
Geographical location
The municipality is located on the north side of the Lusatian Mountains , through which the European watershed between the North Sea and Baltic Sea runs, about 8 km southwest of Varnsdorf .
Community structure
The municipality Rybniště consists of the districts Nová Chřibská ( New Kreibitz ) and Rybniště ( Teichstatt ), which also form cadastral districts.
history
In 1715 the owners of the Česká Kamenice estate - the Kinsky counts - founded a scattered settlement instead of a drained and dried-out pond. There used to be a textile industry here, and later there was also a glass factory that burned down during World War II. The European watershed runs through the village and the water is diverted into two seas. In the village, which was founded in 1833, there are a few houses from whose roofs water flows both towards the Baltic Sea and into the North Sea in the other. Teichstatt formed a community in the Warnsdorf judicial district from the middle of the 19th century . Until 1945 German Bohemia formed the majority of the population.
Culture and sights
The symbol of the community is the St. Joseph's Art Nouveau church from 1912, a work by Anton Möller from Warnsdorf .
