history

Těchlovice was probably founded in the 10th or 11th century in the course of the Slavic settlement. The first written mention of the parish Tyechleuicz took place in 1360. The place was the seat of the Vladiken von Tichlowitz at that time . From 1374 Jan von Těchlovice bought other villages from the Lords of Wartenberg , including Dražkovice in 1391. He had the Sperlingstein (Vrabník) castle built on his territory, which became his seat from 1404. Jan von Těchlovice was also the patron of the churches in Těchlovice, Rychnov and Nebočady. In 1413 he was so over-indebted that he was forced to gradually sell his goods. The following year Jan von Těchlovice also had to sell Sperlingstein Castle to Sigmund von Wartenberg. In 1417 Heinrich Lefl von Lazan acquired the rule. He was followed by Nicholas the poor Lobkowitz von Hassenstein and from 1425 Anna von Sternberg, who came from the Těchlovice family . She brought the rule into her third marriage with Sigmund von Wartenberg on Tetschen . Sperlingstein Castle was abandoned and has been considered desolate since the beginning of the 16th century. When the Lords of Bünau bought the Tetschen estate in 1534 , the goods in Tichlowitz were part of the purchase. In 1628 the Protestant Bünauer had to leave the country and the new owners were the Counts of Thun and Hohenstein . Tichlowitz always remained submissive to Tetschen until 1848.

After the abolition of patrimonial Tichlowitz / Těchlovice formed from 1850 a political municipality in the district administration of Tetschen. In 1869 the community had 355 inhabitants, in 1890 there were 472. In 1874, Tichlowitz was connected to the railway line from Schreckenstein to Tetschen on the Austrian Northwest Railway. In the 19th century, steam shipping on the Elbe developed at the same time, and a landing stage was created in Tichlowitz. At the same time, fruit growing flourished. This led to a further increase in the number of inhabitants to 661 by 1910. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia , Czech railway workers, post officials and gendarmes moved into the village, which was largely populated by Germans. 1930 Tichlowitz reached the settlements Gaute and Hörnl with 735 inhabitants the highest population in its history, including its districts Mühlörzen, Lower Well Hotten, Upper Well Hotten and Pschüra second share and the monolayer were Humpreska, cabbage hole Weberberg and Sperling stone it 1080. After Munich By agreement , the municipality was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Tetschen district until 1945 , and from 1943 Tetschen-Bodenbach . In 1939 the community had 1,036 inhabitants. In 1945 Těchlovice returned to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were expelled . In 1961 Babětín was incorporated. Těchlovice lost its independence in July 1980 and was initially connected to Boletice nad Labem. At the beginning of 1981, Boletice nad Labem was incorporated into Děčín. Until 1996, the place formed under the name Děčín XXXIV-Těchlovice a district of Děčín. After a referendum, Těchlovice broke away from Děčín on January 1, 1997.
