Kunratice ( German Kunnersdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic near the city of Děčín and near Česká Kamenice ( Böhmisch Kamnitz ).

Geographical location
The village is located in the valley of the Bystřička ( Johnsbach , Weißbach ) between the mountains Větrny vrch ( Ottenberg , 481 m) in the west and Kunratický vrch ( Eliasberg , 505 m) and Studenec ( Kaltenberg , 736 m) in the east.
Community structure
The community Kunratice consists of the districts Kunratice ( Kunnersdorf ), Lipnice ( Limpach ) and Studený ( Kaltenbach ).
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts Kunratice u České Kamenice and Studený u Kunratic.
history
The three places emerged in the late phase of German colonization in Bohemia. After the lower valleys were already settled, the new settlers turned to the higher areas. Kunnersdorf was first mentioned in 1416 as Cunradstorf ; Kaltenbach followed in 1451, Limbach in 1457.
On the Lipnický vrch ( Himmertschberg , 549 m) a fierce battle of the Seven Years' War between Prussia and Austria took place on the night of July 19-20, 1757 . A memorial stone between Studený and Lipnice reminds of this.
In 1981 the municipality was attached to the city of Česká Kamenice, but became independent again in the 1990s.
Culture and sights
Kunratice is home to some interesting half-timbered houses . South of the village on the road to Česká Kamenice is the nature reserve Pekelský Důl ( Hell's Ground ). From the neighboring Větrny vrch you have a good view of the whole of Bohemian Switzerland .
