history

The two-row Waldhufendorf was probably founded at the end of the 12th century on the Böhmerstraße leading from Budissin to Tetschen by the gentlemen of Michelsberg on Scharfenstein . The Rosndorf parish was first mentioned in writing in 1352 in papal tithe registers . In 1407 the Berken von Dubá acquired the rule and in 1450 Johann von Wartenberg followed . Nicholas III Trčka von Lípa , who had bought the entire Wartenberg estate in 1511 for 60,000 shock groschen, sold it to Hans von Salhausen auf Wehlen in 1515 at a price 10,000 shock higher . In 1522 Hans shared the property with his brothers Friedrich and Wolf von Salhausen. Rosendorf and its surroundings received Friedrich, who had a new castle built in Bensen . Wolf von Salhausen received his share. Friedrich von Salhausen, who got into financial difficulties due to the construction of the palace, pledged his rule in 1545 to his brothers Hans and Niklas, to whom he owed 2600 shock. After Friedrich's death in 1562 the inheritance was shared by his sons Hans and Friedrich. Rosendorf belonged to the inheritance of Hans von Salhausen. In 1562 Rosendorf received the first evangelical pastor.

In 1575 an inheritance dispute broke out among the von Salhausen family that lasted until 1583. From 1594 the gentlemen von Hagen, Salhausen and Starschedel took turns as owners. In 1612 Johann von Wartenberg bought the rule on Kamnitz , who two years later sold all of his possessions to Radslav Kinsky . He was followed in 1619 by his nephew Wilhelm Kinsky . 1635 inherited his nephew Johann Octavian Kinsky Kamnitz. Bensen with Rosendorf and Binsdorf , on the other hand, received the imperial field marshal Johann von Aldringen as a gift. His heirs shared the property in 1644, and Bensen and accessories went to his sister Anna Maria, married Clary. In 1647 Rosendorf was connected to the parish of the Assumption of Mary in Arnsdorf as a branch in the course of re-Catholicization . In 1653, the Bensen rule was divided under the Clary-Aldringen family , with the four dominions Bensen, Binsdorf, Rosendorf and Hohenleipa being created. Rosendorf fell to Marie Elisabeth Clary-Aldringen. The Berní rula from 1654 shows 45 properties for Rosendorf. In 1683, Karl Clary-Aldringen joined the rulership of Rosendorf to Binsdorf. Between 1710 and 1712 Franz Carl Clary-Aldringen had the old church demolished and replaced with a new baroque building. In 1713 Rosendorf consisted of 76 houses. In 1786 a parish was set up again in Rosendorf, the districts of which also included Stimmersdorf , Rainwiese , Kamnitzleiten and the single layers Grundmühle and Edmundsklamm. The Neudörfel settlement was established on the northern slope of the Hutberg in 1786. In 1789, 20 families from Rosendorf followed the call of the Czaslau district chief Karl von Libin and founded the Libinsdorf family settlement in the Saar mountains in the corridors of the Karlshof monastery . In 1833, 1386 people lived in the 216 houses in Rosendorf. The 23 houses in Neudörfel were inhabited by 151 people. In the 19th century, the settlement Auf der Neue Welt arose at the southwestern foot of the Petersberg .

After the abolition of patrimonial Rosendorf formed from 1850 with the districts Neuwelt, Neudörfel, Kamnitzleiten and Grundmühle a political municipality in the district administration Tetschen / Děčín. Under Edmund Moritz Fürst von Clary and Aldringen, who had inherited the rule of Binsdorf in 1831, the tourist development of Bohemian Switzerland began , in particular the Prebischtores and the Kamnitzklammen. In 1860, Rosendorf had 1657 inhabitants, after which the population moved to factory locations.

On Gutsimsberg, a Protestant cemetery was laid out in 1862 at the former location of the gallows. Two years later, the Protestant Church of St. Wenceslas, built in neo-Romanesque style, was raised to parish church in 1875 .

From 1876 Kamnitzleiten formed its own political municipality with the Grundmühle. In 1881 Edmund von Clary and Aldringen had a lookout tower built on the Rosenberg and on May 4th 1890 an inn opened on the mountain. In 1896 a theological school was added to the Protestant church. Between 1920 and 1923 the estates of Princes Clary and Aldringen gradually passed to the state. The community of Rosendorf had 1,335 inhabitants in 1930. The theological school stopped teaching in 1937. After the Munich Agreement , Rosendorf was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Tetschen district until 1945 , and from 1943 Tetschen-Bodenbach . In 1939 there were 1245 people in the community. After the end of the Second World War, Rosendorf came back to Czechoslovakia. The German residents were expelled until 1946 and the place was renamed Růžová in 1947 . The Evangelical Church was transferred to the Czechoslovak Hussite Church . In 1947 the village of Kamenická Stráň, consisting of 46 houses, including the three houses in Dolský Mlýn, was incorporated. The settlements Dolský Mlýn and Nová Ves became extinct in the second half of the 20th century. In 1960 Janov was incorporated . In the 1960s, the Protestant church was converted into a cinema and the church school into a residential building. In 1980 Růžová was incorporated into Arnoltice . On August 1, 1988, the Catholic Church burned down. The village of Růžová has existed again since 1990. Between 1990 and 2000 the church of St. Peter and Paul was reconstructed.
