Seiun Prize
The Seiun Prize ( Japanese 星雲 賞 , Seiun-shō ) is a Japanese literary prize that honors outstanding national science fiction works. He has been elected annually since 1970 by the participants of the Nihon SF Taikai , the most important science fiction convention in Japan, from a list of nominations.
The prize is the Japanese equivalent of the US Hugo Award , which is presented at Worldcon . An English translation of his name would be Nebula Award , which is another SF US literature award.
