The constituency of Leipzig Land 1 (constituency 23) is a state electoral district in Saxony .

It includes the cities of Borna , Frohburg , Geithain , Kitzscher , Kohren-Sahlis and Regis-Breitingen as well as the communities of Narsdorf and Neukieritzsch and thus part of the Leipzig district . In the last state election (in 2019), 50,405 residents were eligible to vote.

For the 1994 to 2009 elections, the constituency was named " Leipziger Land 1" and had constituency number 23. For the 2014 state election, the name was adapted to the districts that were changed in the 2008 district reform . The constituency kept its number.
