Sarntal (Sarentino) (Italian: Sarentino; German: Sarntal) is a comune (municipality) in the Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 15 km north of the city of Bolzano (Bozen). As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,671 and an area of 302.3 km2.[3]
