Bragassargues is a commune in the French department of Gard in the region Occitania . It belongs to the canton of Quissac and the arrondissement of Le Vigan . The residents call themselves Bragassargais.

The municipality borders in the northwest on Logrian-Florian , in the north on Puechredon , in the east on Cannes-et-Clairan , in the south on Orthoux-Sérignac-Quilhan and in the west on Quissac . The river Crieulon with its flood dam Barrage de la Rouvière runs along the western municipal boundary .
