Gailhan is about 25 kilometers west of Nîmes . Gailhan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sardan in the north, Orthoux-Sérignac-Quilhan in the north and northeast, Lecques in the east, Salinelles in the southeast, Saint-Clément in the south and Carnas in the west and southwest.
