Aigremont ( Occitan : Aigramont ) is a French commune with 791 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Le Vigan and the canton of Quissac (until 2015: canton of Lédignan ). The inhabitants are called Aigremontois .

geography

Aigremont is located about 17 kilometers south-southeast of Alès and about 24 kilometers northwest of Nîmes . The neighboring municipalities of Aigremont are Lédignan in the north, Saint-Bénézet in the northeast, Domessargues in the east and northeast, Mauressargues in the east, Montagnac in the southeast, Moulézan in the south, Saint-Théodorit in the southwest, Savignargues in the west and Saint-Jean-de-Serres in the north-west.
