The river Coudoulous at Avèze
The place with 1080 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) is located on the southern edge of the Cevennes at the foot of Mont Aigoual at the confluence of the Coudoulous into the Arre around 45 kilometers north of Montpellier . The village is built compactly; the municipality covers only a good four square kilometers.
