The constituency of Rottweil - Tuttlingen (2005: constituency 286, 2009: constituency 285) has been a federal constituency in Baden-Württemberg since 1949 . It includes the districts of Rottweil and Tuttlingen . Until 1987 the constituency was called Rottweil . Since 1949, the constituency has always been won by the direct candidates of the CDU .
In the 2005 Bundestag election, 199,242 citizens were eligible to vote.

In the 2009 Bundestag elections , Volker Kauder clearly defended his direct mandate and the FDP continued to establish itself as the second strongest force in the constituency.
