The Bundestag constituency Emmendingen - Lahr (constituency 283) is located in Baden-Württemberg and comprises the district of Emmendingen and the southwestern part of the Ortenau district with the communities of Lahr , Ettenheim , Fischerbach , Friesenheim , Haslach im Kinzigtal , Hofstetten , Kappel-Grafenhausen , Kippenheim , Mahlberg , Meißenheim , Mühlenbach , Ringsheim , Rust , Schuttertal , Schwanau , Seelbach and Steinach . Since 1949 the CDU has been able to win the direct mandate in this constituency in all federal elections . For the 2009 federal election , the constituency number changed from 284 to 283.
