The Bundestag constituency of Reutlingen (constituency 289) is a constituency for the elections to the German Bundestag in Baden-Württemberg . It includes the district of Reutlingen . In the federal election 2017 198904 residents were eligible to vote.
According to Oskar Kalbfell , who was directly elected to the first Bundestag for the SPD , the constituency has always been won by the respective candidate of the CDU with a relative majority of the first votes - and thus the acquisition of a direct mandate in the Bundestag - since 1953 .
