The Cadillac Converj is a concept vehicle that was built by the US car brand Cadillac from the General Motors group and is designed as a two-door coupé. It was formally shown for the first time at the North American International Auto Show in 2009.
The car is equipped with the drive system of the Chevrolet Volt - a 16 kWh battery pack consisting of 220 lithium-ion cells , an electric motor with an output of 120 kW and a four-cylinder gasoline engine with generator, collectively known as the GM-Voltec electric drive system . The maximum torque of the electric motor is 370 Nm. The range with exclusively electric drive is 64 km and the top speed 161 km / h. The front-wheel drive vehicle can be charged within three hours from a 230 V mains socket. The vehicle has wheels with a 21 inch rim diameter at the front and 22 inch rim diameter at the rear.
Serial version
A production version of the study was sold between 2013 and 2016, the Cadillac ELR.
