The Cadillac Series 70 was a 1936/37 model offered by the US automobile manufacturer General Motors under the Cadillac brand .
Model history
In the 1936 model year, Cadillac rearranged its model range and divided it into the Series 60 (V8, bodies from Fisher Bodies ), Series 70 and 75 (V8, bodies from Fleetwood ), Series 80 and 85 (V12, Fleetwood bodies) and the Series 90 (V16, Fleetwood bodies).
The 70 series comprised four models on a wheelbase of 332.7 cm: two-seater coupé and convertible, touring sedan (sedan) and convertible sedan (four-door convertible). The 90 ° V8, also newly published in 1936, with a displacement of 5.7 liters and 135 hp had upright valves.
In two years, a total of 9480 copies of the Series 70 (including 75) were made.
