The Cadillac Voyage was a concept car that the Cadillac -Division of General Motors introduced the 1988th The prototype of a four-door touring limousine was a “rolling laboratory” for modern technology. It was equipped with sensors that automatically switched to all-wheel drive when the rear wheels spun. The engine power was passed through an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission and divided between the front and rear axles in a 50:50 ratio.
The car, the wheels of which were individually suspended, was also equipped with four disc brakes and ABS .
The seats, which were designed according to orthopedic principles, had more than 20 mechanical and pneumatic adjustment options, were heatable and included a massage function. Three seat settings could be saved.
The study design was an inspiration for the Cadillac Seville STS introduced in 1992 .
