The Cadillac Cyclone was a concept car that the Cadillac -Division of General Motors produced the 1959th Series production never came about.

The Cyclone was one of the last vehicles designed by GM's legendary designer Harley Earl and served as a test object for futuristic design and future-oriented technology. Its chassis had a wheelbase of 2642 mm and it was equipped with a V8 engine with 6391 cm³ displacement installed at the front, an automatic transmission on the rear axle and independent wheel suspension. It was the only car that had the exhaust pipe just in front of the front wheels. It had an impact prevention system, the radar sensors of which were housed in the two "nose tips" on the front of the vehicle.

Of all the design details of the Cyclone, the most noticeable was the glass dome over the passenger compartment. It was coated with silver to keep out the UV radiation and opened automatically with the electrically operated sliding doors. The glass dome could also be removed completely and transported in the trunk on a special air bag.

The design of the Cyclone was clearly influenced by the aerospace industry of the 1950s.
