The Cadillac Series 353 is a model with a V8 engine by the American automaker Cadillac, which was built from September 1929 to summer 1930 .

Model history

In September 1929, Cadillac presented the Series 353 as the successor to the Series 341 , again with a V8 engine.

From a technical point of view, the Series 353 was based on the last version of the Series 341. The front track was widened by 7.6 cm compared to its predecessor, the diameter of the headlights slightly enlarged and the radiator widened. The V8 was easily drilled out to 5.8 liters. The recently very confusing range of bodies was reduced to 7 Fisher bodies and 11 basic models from Fleetwood , with the latter body still being able to order individual items.

In addition, there was still an ambulance and hearse on a wheelbase of 386.1 cm.

As early as October 1930, the 353 was replaced by the Cadillac Series 355 . By then, a total of 14,995 units of the Series 353 had been produced.
