history

The airline was founded in January 1978. Under the name Express Air Services , she flew daily to the Channel Islands. Only after signing a contract with Royal Mail was the name of the airline changed to Channel Express in 1983 .

In the meantime, the company has been completely incorporated into the British airline Jet2.com , but until 2006 machines with the old livery were still flying.

Channel Express operated scheduled flights between Bournemouth and the Channel Islands as well as cargo flights. She was also active in the charter service .
