The sluts are tired is the fifth studio album by the Berlin pop band Rosenstolz and at the same time the name of the accompanying tour.

background

The fifth studio album was released on September 29, 1997. It is also the first album by Rosenstolz that was ranked 31st in the German album charts and was in the top 100 for five weeks. By participating in the German Grand Prix preliminary round , it entered the album charts again for five weeks six months later. As a bonus, the album contains the video for Queen as a CD-Rom track . The singles I stand on the next wall (Monotony) and Queen were released from the album . On November 4, 2002, a new edition of the album was released.

Plate describes the album as one of his favorite albums, because "there are so many personal memories attached to it, that was the album where we found each other, so to speak." The song Königin was re-recorded for the album Die Schlampen sind weary . It was already on the original version of the debut album Soubrette I'll Never Be Released. In The psychologist is about Plates experience at a psychiatrist he visited due to anxiety and panic attacks. In party with myself it is about the feeling of loneliness after a concert appearance. The album also contains the Nina-Hagen cover Wir Tanz Tango and, with Duett , AnNa and Peter released a joint song for the second time.
