Mordlust is a German television film directed by Michael Steinke from 1997 . It is the 6th episode of the crime series A strong team with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens in the leading roles.

action

The supermarket employee Seger murdered young prostitutes under various aliases out of a lust for murder . The pressure on the SEK investigators increases with every murder, especially on the part of the new superior Lothar Reddemann. And that's not all: Verena is stressed about moving and is haunted by a threatening stalker. The stalker, freshly released from prison, was convicted of Verena's investigation and is now seeking revenge. Otto is once again conducting an investigation on his own. He promised help to his childhood sweetheart Sonja. A blackmailer has a video from the Stasi holdings that shows Sonja in a compromising situation and threatens to hand the tape over to Sonja's jealous husband. The attempt to get hold of the serial killer through prostitutes hired by the police fails. But finally the investigators found a pattern in the data of the previous murders: All victims had advertised for the first time in a certain daily newspaper, had also offered "without rubber" as a service and had been murdered shortly after their first advertisement. Verena now advertises herself as a prostitute in this newspaper. Shortly after the appearance of the next issue, a suitor who fits in exactly with the pattern and makes an appointment with Verena in a detached house, the owners of which have just left, reports. At the last minute, however, Seger recognizes the trap and breaks off his plan. Although the investigators are convinced of his guilt, there is again no evidence. While Seger is still in custody, another woman is murdered. The dead woman is Otto`s friend Sonja. Since Seger is ruled out as a perpetrator, he is released. The investigators do not yet know that Sonja was murdered by a free rider. Her husband, who was also the unknown blackmailer himself, wanted to get rid of his unfaithful wife. The big showdown will then take place at Verena's new address in the parking garage. There, under cover of darkness, both the stalker and the segers lurk for you.

In this episode, Sputnik is investing in the expansion of a former factory as an event location.
