Complete overview at: FA Cup
The FA Cup is played in rounds. Any team that has a certain level of performance and has an appropriate playing field can take part in the qualifying matches for the FA Cup. The winners of the qualifying rounds and the teams from the 3rd and 4th leagues then play against each other in the first main round. d. Usually only with a first leg. In the event of a tie, a replay takes place. If this does not lead to a decision either, further repetitions are scheduled; until a winning team is determined. Each winner receives a bonus from the television money, which is staggered according to the round. The teams of the two highest leagues only intervene in the third round.
First main round
The games of the first main round were played on the weekend of November 20 and 21, 1981. The replay took place between November 23rd and December 2nd.
