The Comarcas Ribagorza , La Litera , Bajo Cinca , Bajo Aragón-Caspe , Bajo Aragón and Matarraña are traditionally (in whole or in part) counted as part of the Franja de Aragón . According to the appendix to the Aragonese Language Law, which has not been passed, it should include 62 municipalities with around 47,000 inhabitants, the Institut d'Estudis Catalans excludes five municipalities, while other definitions add areas. Above all, the allocation of the municipalities of the valley of Benasque , in which an Aragonese- Catalan transition dialect, the Benasqués or Patués , is spoken, is disputed .
