↑ 3rd division 2012/13 |
The 2012/13 season of the Regionalliga is the fifth season of the Regional Football League as the fourth highest division in Germany. Due to the completed league reform, there are no longer three seasons of a regional league in the 2012/13 season, as has been the case since the beginning of the 2008/09 season , but five equal leagues from five associations. Hence the now fixed league allocation of the teams depending on the association membership. The sponsorship of the leagues has been transferred from the German Football Association (DFB) to the regional and state associations.
Regional leagues
- Regionalliga Bayern 2012/13 with 20 teams from the Bavarian Football Association (BFV)
- Regionalliga Nord 2012/13 with 18 teams from the North German Football Association (NFV)
- Regionalliga Nordost 2012/13 with 16 teams from the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV)
- Regionalliga Südwest 2012/13 with 19 teams from the Southwest Football Regional Association and the South German Football Association (SFV) with the exception of the Bavarian Football Association
- Regionalliga West 2012/13 with 20 teams from the West German Football and Athletics Association (WFLV)
Promotion Games
The champions of the five regional leagues and the runner-up in the Regionalliga Südwest take part in the promotion games to the 3rd division . The winners of the three promotion games drawn with a round trip will be promoted. A meeting between the two qualifiers of the Regionalliga Südwest is not possible.
